The Art of Science with a Knife
Born in 1975 in Balıkesir / Edremit, Op.Dr.Murat GÜREL is originally from Ordu. He completed his primary school education in Konya, secondary and high school education in Samsun, and during his education, he ranked third in the Black Sea Region in Mathematics in the competition organized by Tübitak.
He continued his education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 1994-2000 and started his residency training in Ankara Atatürk and Training and Research Hospital Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department in 2006. During his residency training, he has published many national and international articles. In 2008-2009, he participated in many cases related to rhinoplasty, breast aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, cleft lip and palate, many types of flap surgery in Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
Between 2009-2012, he also participated in various maxillo-facial surgery cases in Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and completed his doctorate. With the expiration of his six-year doctorate period, he was appointed to Aksaray province to perform his compulsory service and performed many aesthetic and reconstructive surgery operations as the Responsible Physician of Plastic, Rec. and Aesthetic Surgery Department.
